Last November 10 and 11, our Michelin Footwear team, in collaboration with the Chilean Mountaineering Federation (FEACH), lived a weekend full of adventures and challenges in the 7th edition of the Merrell GTVUT, held in the Las Trancas Valley, an event that not only tested our endurance and skill, but also strengthened our bonds as a team.
In one of the most spectacular mountain races in southern Chile, it hosted the 2023 National Skyrunning Championship. With races that included the 4K Sky Vertical, 25K SkyRace®, and the challenging 50k SkyUltra, all certified by the ISF Skyrunning International) and endorsed by FEACH, this event was crucial to accumulate points towards the Skyrunning World Cup in Spain 2024.
We share not only breakfasts, but also laughter, challenges and unforgettable moments. We even had the pleasure of inviting a runner from our Team Michelin Footwear Peru, thus expanding our international community.
It was an extraordinary experience, full of intense emotions and challenges imposed by nature. Beyond strengthening our passion for trail running, it reminded us of the importance of solidarity and team spirit. We look to the future with great enthusiasm, looking forward to participating in more events like this, where together, as a Michelin Footwear team, we can push limits and reach new heights in the exciting world of trail running.
